This is a mixed position, which combines the duties of a classical Butler and Maid. Duties include but are not limited to:· Assists the Residence Assistant with daily housekeeping duties and the cleaning of official, private and guest rooms of the Residence;· Dresses tables and occasionally makes flower arrangements as necessary;· Assists serving breakfast, lunch and dinner of the family as needed as well as serving at official luncheons, dinners and receptions;· Assists serving beverages at receptions, teas, etc.;· Assists in answering the door, taking coats, jackets and umbrellas and may be asked to answer the telephone;· Takes laundered clothing items and linens from laundry room to the appropriate bedroom or dressing room;· Cleans and maintains the private rooms and guest rooms of the ...
